Building Of Sea Walls To Protect The Beaches.

The hotel is building various sea walls using boulders in the resort to protect the beaches. This will also protect the dive site and ship wreck from getting submerged in the sand & to protect the resort from rising sea levels in years to come. This work will all take place in the sea and there will be no work in the island itself.

Building Of Sea Walls Update

The construction work on the sea walls is now complete on one side of the island (where the beach Villas as re located) and in front of the swimming pool and other public areasThe construction in front of the Deluxe Water Villas which had slowed down last month due to the onset of the monsoon resulting in strong currents; has now resumed in full swing and is scheduled to be completed by 15th Sept 2010.
