The water bungalows are a treat to the senses with their easy access to the excellent lagoon just underneath and, with glass bottom areas in the room, you can enjoy the enormous beauty of the coral garden under you. In the naturally landscaped grounds guest encounter endemic species of wild life such as the Maldivian Grey Heron, lizards, Kuinas and a variety of storks. Watching dolphins passing in procession in close proximity to the Vadoo pier or from the "Big Hut Bar" is a unique experience.

Vadhoo is one of the smallest resort in Maldives, located in South Male atoll facing the Vadhoo channel just few minutes from the airport. The island is perfectly situated to reach all the best dive sites in the southern part of South Male atoll.

Some of the best diving in the country can be reached within a few minutes from the resort. Old Shark Point and the Victory Wreck in North Male and Embudhu Canyon and the Cathedral in South Male are legendary. |
Three room types are available to choose from, namely: Sun Rise Wing rooms, Beach Cottage rooms, Water Cottage rooms and Water Cottage Suites. The rooms in the island are perfect for staying in and are ideal for honeymooners.
The rooms have traditional thatched roofs and bamboo fittings, which blend harmoniously with the environment. In keeping with its concept of quiet well-being and getting away from the noise pollution of the cities, there is no television or radio in the rooms.
All rooms have a terrace or balcony and face the ivory sand and turquoise sea, synonymous with a relaxing break in sunny Maldives.

A variety of fresh food is served in the dining room including theme nights of Eastern food. An á la carte menu with seasonal items such as lobster, crab, sea food and other exotic preparations are also available in the dining room.
Guests can watch the news on television, listen to music or enjoy a drink at sundown in the lively "Terrace Bar" or unique over water "Big Hut Bar". A private dinner on the beach by candle light under the stars can be arranged with the friendly staff of Vadoo. |

The Barberyn Ayurveda Health Centre at Vadoo Island Resort provides an authentic Ayurveda experience. The health centre uses Barberyn Ayurveda products and is operated by a team of Barberyn staff.
